Dabo House is a small family owned hotel in Tranquil, Gambia.
The hotel has seven rooms, all airconditioned and each with a private bathroom.
There is also a swimmingpool and an open yard where you can sit in the shadow under the mangotree and relax. Our excellent chef cook on demand, all from fresh raw materials. A simple breakfast is included in the price for all our guests.

Gambia - the smiling coast
Our area Tranquil is not far from the Atlantic ocean and its paradise beaches. You only have a 12 minute walk from the hotel to the beach.
In Tranquil you also have close access to all kind of services such as well sorted supermarkets and pharmacies.
If you want to do different kind of excursions, Tranquil is really a good location to start from.
Gambia as a whole has genuinly friendly people, and Tranquil is regarded as a very safe neighbourhood.
Culture and music
Dabo House also specializes in cultural experiances with Westafrican dancing and drumming. Every year we arrange group trips from Europe and America for people that want to explore Gambia and Westafrican culture from inside. But also for guests that come at other times we can arrange music-and danceworkshops. It is a wonderful way of getting to know the culture, and a very nice family activity that you can do together.
